Bali Bombing Commemoration 2012

The island of Bali today commemorate the Bali bombings of October 12, 2002. The event was held by the government of Bali to mark 10 years of Bali bombings which have killed more than 200 lives.

On the incident, people from 21 countries died and a militant group of Jemaah Islamiah blamed for the bombings. Today the security around popular district of Kuta, Sanglah hospital was very tight because of possible attacks againts visiting dignitaries and also to protect Prime Minister of Australia - Julia Gillard, former PM John Howard and also opposition leader Tony Abbot who comes for the commemoration and visiting such places related to the bombings.

The bombs which ripped the Paddy's Irish Bar and nearby Sari club caused around 88 of Australian citizen died on that day. Ms. Julia Gillard on early morning memorial services in Jimbaran mention that the relation between Australia and Indonesia becoming closer than everbefore after the incident.

She also paid her respect to the people who helping hands on the incident, the police ans also both of the leaders of Australia nd Indonesia which handled the aftermath of the blasts. There are many Australians who travelled to the island of Bali for the commemoration day of Bali bombing October 12 2012.

Many who comes were families, friends of the Australian people who died on the incident. Indonesian foreignminister Mr. Marty Natalegawa who spoke before Ms. Gillard which representing Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono also paid tribute to the rescuers and honored the victims, survivors and also all of their families.
